PROCES{i} invites the audience to a public trial. K. is already guilty, although no one remembers when or why, and her punishment is a lifelong process of judgement: an endless dissection of her actions, intentions and possible innocence.
Inspired by Franz Kafka’s The Trial, the first stage work written and directed by duo Silence combines live music, monodrama and movement. Boris Benko and Primož Hladnik shape a darkly playful tribunal around actress Katarina Stegnar, where absurd authority, fear and resistance meet under the unforgiving gaze of the court.
