Mali princ is a poetic ballet for young audiences by choreographer Lukas Zuschlag, created for SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana after the beloved story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The performance follows the Little Prince through a landscape of planets, encounters and questions that are simple only at first glance.
With music by Aleksandra Naumovski Potisk, the ballet moves between playfulness and tenderness: flight, friendship, curiosity and loss become images in motion. The clean visual world of the stage leaves room for the dancers to carry the story through gesture, rhythm and silence.
Premiere: 6 September 2024, SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana.
