In Leo Mujić’s ballet Hamlet, Shakespeare’s tragedy becomes a charged physical landscape of doubt, memory and fractured power. Created for the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana and set to music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Camille Saint-Saëns, the production follows Hamlet’s inner conflict through a visually forceful, highly theatrical choreographic language, balancing narrative clarity with the virtuosity of the Ljubljana ballet ensemble.
