Eva Černe Avbelj celebrated twenty years of her musical career at Poletno gledališče Studenec, a stage closely connected with her beginnings. Accompanied by the Slovenian Police Orchestra and guest artists, she brought together the musical worlds that have shaped her voice: Slovenian popular song, folk melodies, opera and musical theatre.
The anniversary programme included favourite songs and music from Veronika Deseniška, alongside a nod to The Phantom of the Opera and the Avsenik duet Lepe ste ve Karavanke. Intimate vocal exchanges, theatrical gestures and vibrant orchestral colour made the evening both a retrospective and a homecoming. The photographs move between Eva’s expressive stage presence, her musical partners and the atmosphere of the Studenec auditorium.
